So after much adieu we finally got on to the matter of the pumpkin shot. Grandpa carved out a cute “Cooper” pumpkin. In their quest to be crazy, mom and dad didn’t end up shooting me near this. We finally got around to that now though so don’t worry. Actually, we made a day of picture taking as this will be the first Halloween of my life.

My first blackout
Well what do you know, a blackout. This is actually pretty funny. So mom and dad get the babysitter as per usual and mom runs out to dinner at Outback and a movie (High School Musical 3, don’t ask. Even I wouldn’t see that). Dad was going out with aunt Liz. Nearing the time of departure, the lights go out. POOF! Out, literally, like a light. However, just on our block. Figures. So dad sat in the dark for 3 hours including giving me a bath, etc. Here are the highlights. If he is feeling daring, he will post the pictures he took while in the dark. Seriously, dad has issues. Hey, whatever to pass the time. Taking a bath by flashlight was fun though!

Winter Bear Suit
Ok so it is flippin’ cold now. Too cold to go outside. So, mom got this silly suit which will extend our walking capabilities after work for another few weeks hopefully. As well it may stop me from getting a cold every other day due to this ridiculous cold I continue getting. It is a little big for me yet but it is fuzzy like you couldn’t imagine and warm, warm, warm.

To the mall with my future girlfriend
So hello again. Reporting here on a blast from the blog past. A while back you may remember me noting my future girlfriend. Well luckily our parents are doing their part to ensure that this happens. The latest attempt was them arranging a mall date. We even did lunch. I am telling you…
A slow ride around the mall and a nice lunch at Joe’s American Bar & Grill and then, yes, more mall and voila! you have another weekend in the Hampton house. Watch out Colleen, here I come.

Me and mom’s silly hat
Ok, what the heck is this? Mom has officially lost her mind. Granted, it is ridiculously cold out right now for me. (I have NEVER felt this weather ever). However, from what I hear, this only gets colder. That being said, mom gets the bright idea that we should get me a hat. After all 80% of body heat is lost via the head. Blah, blah, blah. This is silly! So here is the hat “we” chose. C’mon, do you see this thing? Mom thinks it is hilarious. I think these are the things therapy is made for later in life. At the very least we have proof so that I can show this to my shrink. Proof is good.

Cooper and Dad
So eventually dad (who is claiming to be the mastermind behind this blog site in general) had to have some cute pics of he and I included here. Who does he think he is? Seriously, this is my site and no one else’s. Clearly he is crazy. He thinks he runs this show? I don’t think so. I will let him have this one though as he is really nuts. Although these were taken 10/2 I am just getting around to posting them. (hey, you see how flippin’ cute I am? I have some serious social requirements here).

Garlic Festival 2008
So today was b-e-a-u-tiful. Quite amazing really. Short sleeve shirts and no blankets for me. (and the folks too). My insatiable urge to eat everything in sight kept us in the house for the first half of the day but enough is enough already, the day is amazing and winter is upon us so we have to get out when we can. What better way to do that other than the Hoboken Garlic Festival.
Like a zillion varieties of garlic and sauces, etc to try. YUMMY! Well, dad enjoyed it anyway. (Mom probably won’t later tonight). Good times on the walk. Ran into aunts Liz and Jami, uncle Chris and Jack/Aidia who were all also strolling around town. ‘Twas the day. Then home for some blue garlic mashed potatoes and chicken. Off to bed and we start again.
Funny, on the way home, we saw this house too. I think someone is a wee bit confused.
