  • Ocean City!

    Well another year, another trip to OC. This one was a bit wet as it rained the second day but we had some good time anyway. Dad and I sat in line forever to get movie tickets and took mom to see Smurfs 2. Dad wasn’t a huge fan but it passed some rainy time. We did get waffles too. Highlight of this year was the surf ball. This thing was awesome! We played it forever. Dad is a HUGE fan of this thing. Also, naturally, we ate a ton of crap while we were there so that is always a welcome change from, well, eating treats at home. Riley is still not in love with the beach but I took a big leap this year and think I am an ocean kind of guy now. Last, let’s just talk about how fun kites are shall we? I was rocking the ladybug and later the dragon (I now have two kites) so things were cool here. Dad says next year it is kite on. I even made some kite friends.

    Dad found a station on the radio called “Hair Nation”. I can really get down on some air guitar. Dad loves the background soundtrack to his childhood now playing a tiny bit in mine.

  • A “typical” weekend

    A “typical” weekend

    I often get asked, “What do you do on the weekends”? To wit I reply, “Just hang out”. So here you have it folks, what a Cooper “weekend” looks like. First, there is Target, oh yes, Target. Lounging on the big red shopping cart blocker ball is just a perk. Then there is a Home Depot and/or a Lowes trip in there. This one was Lowes (race car cart optional but preferred). Followed up by a dinner out with friends; this one at Johnny’s. So there you have it. This is how I roll.
