Boat races
After a ton of rain days we didn’t find paper in time, a few that we had paper but not enough rain, the day finally came where we had BOTH rain AND paper. Boat race time!

Movie day
Went to the new theater today to check out the new theater in town. Pretty fancy indeed. Mom and dad said they would check out the brand new, private ticket option prior to bringing us to the movies. I will await their return. Meanwhile, look who we met in the lobby!

Hit up the pool, hit up the brand new “outdoor shower, and caught a late night flick at a friends house. Overall, can you really complain about that? What a night!

Fourth of July!
It’s that time of year again. Fireworks, back to Jenny’s house, and hanging out. This year we amped things up a bit with an outdoor movie. Seems to be all the rage this summer and I for one love it. Didn’t light any portions of the yard on fire this year so that is good; that is very good.

First Sharks swim meet
Big month man. Turn 6. End kindergarten and now this. My first swim meet! Turns out “swim meet” is just code word for draw all over yourself with a Sharpie and hang out with your friends the entire time. But I did get to do my first full 25 meter swim. Lots of fun. Dad was a volunteer timer so he had a front seat for the excitement. It was all very crazy. Then, yup, back to playing with friends.
