Who has been hiding this all this time? Really, I am writing a letter to management. This stuff is great. Mom and dad get the new blinds for the office and for Riley and I get the bubble wrap. Sweet.

This is my new latest hobby. I am actually getting able to hit the ball on occasion. Plus, I like it even more wearing a Home Depot hat. Dad is increasingly worried about my sports interest.

Grandma and grandpa visit group shot
As the trip culminates a group photo was in order. Not bad either. Although I am now realizing what a camera is and am posing for these things a bit less than i used to.

Playing my drums
So while I got a ton of stuff for Christmas I have to say the loudest one was definitely these drums. Yes. indeed. Loudness not withstanding, this toy is killer. I can now say though that I may be a drummer someday in a band. Dad says drummers don’t fare well in the band paradigm but I think they gotta do better than banjo players right?

Grandparents visit
California is not around the corner so when grandma and grandpa come, it is game on. Dad and grandpa got hopping on some household remodeling projects that have been in the works for a while now. Got the bird condo out of the attic, fixed the cover to the stairs to the basement, and put an electric sub panel in the attic. In all, tons done. Along side of that grandma and grandpa took me to gymnastics one day and merry go rounding another. Needless to say we also hung out almost every minute of every day. Great visit for all involved. It did also snow a bit which allowed me to practice my shoveling out in the backyard. Mom and dad really enjoyed their trip but I am pretty sure I enjoyed it more.
