Every once and a while these posts make it. We essentially did nothing during the day but, we had the camera. Lessons learned today: I love being in the car OUT of my car seat and two, virtually anything mom or dad does (in this case washing the dog) involving water, I am THERE!

Ok so I didn’t have any wine but not for lack of effort believe you me. It was fun to run around though. Surprisingly, on a Sunday, there are quite a few other kids there too running around. Since this is right down the street from my house, this happens to work out well for me. This place really is great though. Mini-pizzas, room to run, connected to the market, and mom and dad could sit there for hours.
So I suppose you know you rule the roost when parents are faced with what to do for the day and choose IKEA even though they need nothing and are planning on buying nothing. (sidebar: they actually ended up buying nothing if you can believe it). I ran and climbed EVERYTHING. Hey now that I am a Rebounders grad, I CAN climb everything. It was game on in the kids section of course. Sweedish meatballs and lingenberry everything for lunch (seriously a family of 3 ate lunch there for $12) and finally a stroll through the shelves. All in all a good day. Tired me right out too so it was directly to bed.

Dad had set up a photo shoot at the house and as it turns out the light meter makes the flashes go off. So guess what I did? Yup, fired the flashes a zillion times and cracked up the whole time. Dad managed to fire off a few of frames at the same time.

It is a wonderous place, filled with things to climb on, things to knock over, things to eat, shelves to hide under, tents to crawl in, slides to climb, and yes, even cartoon characters on boxes of food. I think it confuses adults too because I overheard mom and dad saying we were there for what seemed to be forever. Really though, we were only there for like an hour. Odd.
So we have been looking for a kid friendly Sunday place to hang out. Think we found it. The Rec Room. While it is not an every day event this place has a pool room (fun to run at full speed in), two motorcycle games to ride on (uh, need I say more), and plenty of bar patrons watching sports for me to wave to and charm the heck out of. All in all, this place rocks.
Well, it’s been snowing here basically for the last 5 days. I think that we have about 40+ inches on the ground right now. Mommy and Daddy say that the roads are really bad and we haven’t been able to go out much. I think it’s fun to have everyone home together but it sounds like Mommy & Daddy are getting a little anxious about getting out soon. Susana’s streets haven’t even been plowed yet, so even though she got a ride over yesterday, she can’t really get out either. I have a feeling that gym class is gonna be canceled on Friday. Bummer!!! Atleast I’ve gotten to catch up on some of my cleaning and helping daddy with the fire. I did a little shoveling but that was boring.

So this morning mommy was watching tv while I napped and realized that it felt a little cold in the house. When she looked at the thermo-thing, she realized that the heater was broken. So when daddy got home from karate they had the heater ppl come and look and found out that the furnace had died. They were not happy. Regardless, the packed everyone up and off to Aunt JJ’s and Uncle Nik’s we went. Of course it was the coldest day and it was snowing. There’s a great hill at their house, so we got to go sledding for the first time. Sam and I had tons of fun!! Oh! and it was Auntie JJ’s b-day…so we got to celebrate together.
