Mommy and Daddy are teaching me very early on how important it is to wash your hands..especially during cold and flu season. Thanks to gym class, I now know how to climb onto anything that I need. Baltimore County has some pretty tight requirements on what they do and do not accept for recycling…do you think they’d take me?
Mommy and Daddy got a new recycling garbage can since effective 2/1/10, Baltimore will no longer accept recycling in any plastic bags(seriously, WHAT are we gonna do with all those bags we have?)….and I had a ton of fun playing in it. You know, sometimes it’s hard to be me. Playing all the time really wears me out. So today even though I had taken a 2 hr nap, I was still feeling a little sleepy….luckily Daddy is always up for snuggle. So we just hung out and watched tv while Mommy went to the Giant to get dinner ingredients.

This means it is acceptable to remove the dead tree from the living room. When the lights come down I get a new toy. This is what happens.

Aside from showing kids how to best us Q-Tips? This has become my favorite pastime by the by.
So last Christmas was technically the first one for us but this was the first one that I actually was able to walk around, rip off the wrapping paper, etc. And yes, I had a pretty good time doing it as well. Got a trike this year and a bunch of toys that make noises like you couldn’t believe. Seriously mom and dad are psyched about all of the noises that will be coming along soon. A great day with the fam.

So it was a random trip to the mall which spurred my first humongo haircut. By humongo of course I simply mean a haircut that did not entail me kicking, yelling, squirming, or anything. I literally just sat there and took it all in. As per usual dad sat behind me in the chair and held me down but this went very smoothly I must say. Mom and dad snapped these pics in the car on the way home almost immediately regretting the amount of hair removed from my head. I went from 18 months to 4 years with a few passes of the scissors. Mom and dad have pledged that the hair will return. Absolutely, it will return.
Have I mentioned how much I love the snow? Well, I do. I’m not so crazy about all the layers of clothes that I have to wear though. Mommy and Daddy aren’t so happy that every time it snows, it’s on the weekends and ruins all their plans. But it worked for me this time because instead of going out for Wheelie’s birthday, they stayed home and played with me in the snow. Daddy was convinced that they could go out to see Avatar regardless of the 24″ of snow we got…but the movie theatre closed! Daddy had to shovel 5 times just keep up with it. I heard that it hadn’t snowed like that since before Mommy and Daddy got married but that was so long ago, that I wasn’t even born yet.
