It’s our favorite time of the school year. Spring break! This summer we went to a new waterpark in the Poconos called Camelback. Of course we only came with us! We had a lot of fun and really like it there. We hope to go back another time soon. Other than that we did a lot of hanging out around the house. The weather was pretty good, so you could be outside a lot. Riley tried to ride her bike without training wheels, and that did not go so well. We are really missing grandpa on that. On our last day, we went to visit mommy at work. She snuck out and took us to the aquarium for a super quick visit. On the way home we passed out. Little did we know that Cooper had pneumonia that day and it has now had to be home from school the rest of the next week too. Mommy and daddy to take a quick break from us and go to a concert to see some crazy rock band from daddy’s youth. Today I took Monkey for a walk like I’m supposed to do at the end of the day. On my way I saw these beautiful flowers and it made me think of mommy. So I brought them home to her. Hopefully none of my neighbors are mad at me for stealing flowers out of their yards. I just love my mommy so much and I’m such a good boy. After a winter of warm weather we finally got a snow day!!! It was more ice than snow but we still made it work! Spent most of the morning being lazy with wheelie bc she slept over. Then we got dressed and went out. We got some good sledding in and then went to the H’s for some serious dance competition! They kicked our butts. We were pretty much dead by the end of the day. Well, we finally did it. Mommy and that you have been talking about Costa Rica for as long as we have been alive and we finally got a chance to go and visit it. We had so much fun. We got to see volcanoes and animals and beaches and rain forest. In Arenal we went on a hanging bridges tour and got to make mommy scared by walking across six bridges suspended across the rain forest. In Tamarindo we went surfing and snorkeling. We even got to meet new friends from all over the world. We met a friend in Canada and a friend from England. We even meet a friend from Pennsylvania. It was a great seven days but when we came back mommy and daddy seemed very tired. Can’t wait to go back again another day.
It’s time for our annual trip to NYC for the Super Bowl chili cook off. This year daddy didn’t cook anything so it was low pressure. We spent the day at the science center while Liz and Jen prepped for the event. Had so much fun!
