  • My First Airplane Ride

So mom and dad ripped me out of bed at 4am, dragged me to Newark airport and plopped me down in the window seat where I stated, more or less in this position, for the entire 6 hour flight. I didn’t make a peep the entire time so first flight without a hitch; check. Hanging in San Francisco for a bit with grandma and grandpa for the first time so I will have more to reprt shortly.

  • Attempted Bike Ride

Well there is some saying about “paved with good intentions” that I think I have heard somewhere. Mom and dad got off to a good start attempting to go bike riding. Picked a park that had nothing but paved roads, got a nice sunny day, had a top of the line baby seat professionally installed and even had me in a good mood. However, no helmets are made for babies under 1 year so they were out of luck. We had to settle instead for a quick picnic on the grass and a 45 minute walk past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. Good enough but not quite the ride they were hoping for. Unlucky. Oh well, it was cool anyway. Dad found one of the only shaded areas in the whole park to eat under. It was pretty warm otherwise. Dad was psyched that he spent forever packing up the car, bikes and rack etc just to do nothing. How great is that.

  • Liz’s BBQ

So in the tradition of Hoboken summer, we ventured into yet another bbq; this time at Liz’s. The landscape of the BBQ has changed a bit seeing as everyone now has kids. Uncle Mick just announced that him and Gita were now prego as well so that means they are falling like flies. Sooner or later we will outnumber them. Sweet. Meanwhile, I am happy to have mom and dad hike the entire length of Hoboken with me hitching a ride in the swank stroller. They also then walked the whole length back to the bike shop where they tuned up for our bike outing tomorrow. We shall see.

  • Let’s Go Hiking!

So mom and dad got adventurous today and took me hiking. Well, to be clear, they hiked and I rode in a hiking pack. Uncle Nik and aunt Jenny were gracious enough to buy a baby hiker and never use it. (Seriously, there were instructions still and feet still in a bag in the back pouch). They donated it to mom and dad who put it to good use. I am a bit on the small side still and mom had to pack a few shirts in there to keep my head from bobbing all around but it was a good activity to get us all out of the house. Good stuff all around. Also, we just missed the rain storm that happened just after we left. I even uploaded a gallery for you. Click here to check that out!

  • Mamma Project

So mom got sick of my room the way it was and had a pretty sweet idea. We ended up doing a triptic above my changing table. Neat eh. So dad pulled out the camer (shocking isn’t it) and snap snap snap on a Saturday and we got her picture. Mom and Dad both agreed on my mug shot and Dad took a fav of his for now. Likely we are going to swap his out later but, for now, it looks sweet on the wall. Here are the pics below we ended on plus click here to visit the gallery page that has the whole shoot on. We liked more than just the three so we posted them all instead.

  • In The Pool

So mom stole me away from NJ for a few days insistent on me going in the pool. I played it cool like it bothered me a bit but what mom does not know is that I take after dad here. I AM A FISH! I was dying to go in the water. She thinks she is fooling me. Ohhhh nooooo. I had her right where I wanted here. He he. Pool was nice. Being away from dad for 5 days, not so much. Good times though. The little house thingy grandma has is pretty sweet. Naps rock. Check me out more in the gallery too!

  • My First Outdoor Show!

Well, there have been some issues with my site. Something about URL not propagating properly. Whatever the heck that means. All I know is that dad said we can now start doing this again. COOL!

Well this page was all about my first concert. Dad takes banjo at Guitar Bar. Every year, they do a killer show at Sinatra Park and mom and dad took me as my first show! Cool! Rock songs, bluegrass, punk; a little bit of everything really. We even brought the doggies.

Funny enough, the show was far enough away where mom and dad had to put the dogs in the pram for the ride home and carry me. The pictures are hilarious. They are in the gallery for month two. Check that out.

  • My Future Girlfriend?

    My Future Girlfriend?

So today mom had a visitor, Colleen from the good old college days. I had the pleasure of meeting her new daughter Evangeline and hubba hubba. We should keep in touch. : ) We were supposed to go out and have lunch but it was really hot out ad mommas decided that it was a bit too much for babies. So, no lunch. All the same, I slept through most of my first date anyway.
