Another one of dad’s close friends dropped by today with his daughter Ella. We had a great time. I showed her the swing, the deck, and even let her eat at my table. Dad loves it when folks visit so we all had a good time.

Renaissance 2012
So I never knew this existed; ever. It was a bit touch and go in the beginning but once I found out they had SWORDS it was all good. Also, then we got to see knights on horses run at each other with sticks. Oh man, it was cool. Naturally, just like the true Renaissance folks, we had chocolate ice cream. (they keep it historically accurate you know).

Driving lessons with mommy
Mom says that dad can’t drive and if anyone should be giving you driving lessons it should be her. Hmmm. I smell something fishy here…

State Fair 2012
Man I love when this thing comes to town. I ride rides, I see Sam, I eat crap until I want to throw up, then I pass out in the car on the ride home. Seriously what else could I ask for. This year was no different. Check across the board on things to do.

Painting wood
Dad had a bunch of wood left over from the deck so Susana and I spent some time decorating it. We busted out the paints and I got busy. Turn out I painted everything BUT the wood so a bath followed shortly after. That’s not the point. Look at all this wood just waiting for paint!
