Dad has had me involved in this breakfast cooking for quite a while now. Time to pass the torch to Riley; well bring her into the fray anyway. I am getting the hang of things now so I am almost an old pro by now.

Mommy’s new shoes
Look at these awesome new shoes mommy got. She calls them “booties” and I just call them shoes! They were a little hard to walk in and Mommy kept telling me to stay away from the stairs..but you know her…all uptight about my safety!

Mom’s birthday at Belvedere (Aug 5)
We went to Belvedere Square for mom’s birthday. Good times. Everyone came so we had quite the entourage. Everyone brought food and we ate, and ate, and ate. Yum. Busy BSquare night though. A bit crowded. We even got TCBY after. Even more yum.

Helping dad with a bbq (various August/Sep dates)
Dad is obsessed with this BBQ even though he can only work on it on the weekends. No worries, I jump right in and help every time. I rock at this construction thing.

BEACH! (Aug 13)
This was our annual pilgrimage to the beach. Long old day, long old day indeed. 3 hour drive there, 3 hour drive back. Plus beach time, plus sun, plus boardwalk walk, plus Dough Roller, plus churros. Geesh, totally long day. Photos please…
Oh, and dad and mom were particularly laughing when I started throwing the moves to a cute college lady. Seriously, we spent like a half hour chatting it up. Hey, I just can’t help it. She is in the pics too.

My new digital crayon (Aug 19)
Dad has a weakness; the Apple Store. Today he found a Crayola digital crayon. This thing is AMAZING! Yes, this is ridiculous for sure. I am, well, excited to have this for sure. I even got Riley in on the action.

Hurricane!
I’m a set for the power to go out! I slept in the office just in case a tree fell down and I had my light with me just in case. Luckily the power didn’t actually go out until 6am, so I didn’t need it.
