  • Dutch Wonderland

So my first amusement park! Mom and dad thought I might be a bit scared of these things but as it turns out, I ran full speed for an entire day and ended up sleeping about 1/2 hour in the car. Literally could not stop. Roller coasters, spinning rides, bumper cars, the list goes on and on. Top that off with mac and cheese, fries, some funnel cake, and a bounty of other crap and I am now officially an amusement park veteran. Dad saved the log flume for last and augmented the splashing element with a little outside splashing of his own. Wheelie didn’t love that part but Sam and I did. Overall, really cool day man!

    Shaving cream

My own. Yeah! Actually, dad says there is some guy counting his $100 bills on a private beach somewhere because he invented kids shaving cream. It even has a duck head on it. This can’t be more fun if you tried.

  • If you can’t beat it…join it!

Yes, it’s been raining here forever!  I don’t know what’s going on but we haven’t seen the sun in days.  So mommy decided that we might as well just suck it up and just go play in the rain.  She said something about burning off my excess energy. I’m not sure what she means by that! 🙂

So we spent some time outside looking for good puddles to jump in.  There weren’t too many, actually, but we found some good mud spots.  All in all, a good time. I got very dirty. Maybe next time Daddy and Riley can join us.

  • Mommy’s Night Out

There isn’t a picture to show but this was a big night! Mommy’s first night out since Riley was born! She and Dori went out to dinner at Cinghiale in harbor east. Mommy drank 2 whole glasses of wine and had good food. Daddy was being a crazy man and went to NY to ride in a 143 mile bike race in the rain!

Not me!!! Mommy got me this super fun pool at the store today. I dont know why because I am not listening at all to her these days, but I guess it was on sale. Hopefully Riley will come in with me soon but right now she hates getting wet.

  • Mother’s Day-2011

This is a big day in our house.  It’s Mother’s Day!  This year is especially important because it’s the first one where Riley is here to celebrate.  For the first time in FOREVER, Daddy got to spend the day with his Mommy too…Yup, Grandma and Grandpa were here. So to celebrate we did 2 big things. First of all, Mommy and I spent the night at Wheelie’s so that we could all wake up together on the morning of, then the next morning, we went to Capital Grille for the annual mother’s day brunch with GM & GP.

After we finished brunch we went down to the Harbor and took a ride on the Dragon boats.  I’ve been talking about doing this for WEEKS and finally daddy and GP took me on. It was actually kinda hard work.

But all in all, a fun day. Daddy, Riley and I got Mommy 2 hanging plants that she wanted.
