So perhaps I am my mother’s kid after all; when coming to groceries anyway. Dad and I get ’em, I meticulously sort in the kitchen and then help put them away. As always, dad is a bit worried.

Trick or Treat 2010
Wow! What can I say about today? This was the best day ever!!! First of all…did you know that you can go to random people’s house, yell “Trick or Treat” and they give you candy? I had no idea. This year, Mommy decided to make me my costume from scratch. She did such a good job(with no help from daddy)making me into Boots from Dora the Explorer. It was such a good costume. It took her weeks to get it done but it really worked out well. I looked awesome. Also my favoritest cousin in the whole world came over for the night. Sam was dressed as Anakin Skywalker. He looked super cool. We made lots of cupcakes and Wheelie brought Pizza. What a night! I had a lot of candy and then passed out cold in the hallway outside of my bedroom. Luckily mommy found me and put me back in bed. Ahhhh…can’t wait till next year!

Photos by Tiffany
We have a budding photographer in the house. One of my bestest friends (and Susana’s daughter) Tiffany is practicing to be a professional photographer and she used me as a muse today. We played outside for a while in the leaves and she got some great pictures. Maybe one day she’ll be famous and these pictures will be worth quite a bit. In the meantime, everyone can ooh and ahhh about how good they are. Happy Fall!

Sport Clips haircut
Not much to say here. Haircut as usual. However, this was the first day I got the buzzers used on my neck. It tickled but I survived. Dad got a haircut too. Mom says I now look 10. Dad agrees. Now they both can’t wait for the curls to grow back.

Our new Sunday “thing”
So dad has decided that Sunday is our new shopping day. Furthermore, he actually really likes doing it with me. So we have been going for a while now. However, no one knows just how funny the whole thing is. Dad has since stopped using the self-checkout lane as it was taking about double the time to checkout with all my hopping on and off the scales. That and the fact that the mental giants at the store who cannot figure out how to make dad’s cloth bags not trip the scales every time. Seriously, don’t they know there is a crazed 2 year old running around. Speed this up already.
That all being said, give me a 1/2 lb of strawberries to munch on throughout the store and a few sliced of deli turkey on the way out, and I am happy. Oh, and don’t forget the cart surfing to the car.

Leaf blowing starts again…
So my obsession with any tool dad uses is relentless. He is using it for a moment and I am all-in. For your entertainment I submit three videos; a progression if you will. A typical progression of daddy tool time.
Step One: Cautious approach. I watch dad use it, see what goes on, and try to pry it out of his hands.
Step Two: I got this. This is where I listen to no one and attempt the task on my own. Typically to no avail.
Step Three: All loss of control. This is where I realize that I don’t really want to do the task, I just want to play. Dad gives in and plays to the point where I don’t get hurt.Step and repeat.
These are in order matching the above description.
