So we didn’t post this right away because we were waiting to see how it panned out but two Sunday’s ago we watched a mommy bunny give birth; RIGHT ON OUR DOORSTEP! When we came home to find one by himself, the house went into a long chain of internet bunny research, 24 hour vets, and even a wildlife refuge center (oddly enough, located just 10 miles from here. Weird). Anywho, as it turns out the bunnies can’t go very far once they are born so the nest, as it turns out, was right there. From the temporary bunny triage (paint tray) to being plopped right back in the nest, crisis was averted. As of today they have changed quite a bit. Fur, eyes open, the whole ball of fur. They should be leaving any day now so dad thought it was important to snap a quick shot prior to their inevitably sad departure likely in the next few days. Hopefully they will return and we can watch it again next year.

Today was a big day!  Daddy took me to my very first movie-Toy Story 3 in 3D!!!  I got to eat popcorn, candy and fruit punch.   The movie was ok but I got bored after about an hour so we left. That was cool though.  Then we went to Wheelie’s for dinner w/ Puppa and Monkey.  I learned how to stick tissues up my nose too on the way home.  Busy day!

Today we decided to go hang out at Dori’s Mommy & Daddy’s Pool.  They have a nice big pool with a really fun diving board.  The pool was a little deeper than Wheelie’s pool but we still had a ton of fun.

So I know it’s hard to imagine but Mommy and Daddy have never let me eat ice cream in a cone.  Since I was just a little baby boy, they would only get me a plain cone to eat at the ice cream store.  I didn’t even know that there was something better. I’ve always liked the plain cone.  Well, tonight, Mommy was feeling guilty for being a very busy working Mommy, so she took me to the ice cream shop in our town called Uncle Wiggly’s and got me an actual ice cream cone. Even though she asked the server to only put a little ice cream in the cone, he didn’t really listen.  It was also 100 degrees(literally) outside and things got melty very fast.  Once I finished my cone, I moved on to Mommy’s milkshake.  All in all a very good night.  When we got back home, Mommy insisted that I take a bath right away.

So daddy is a professional bike riding fool these days.  I decided to jump on and give it a shot.  The bike was a little big for me but I gave it my best shot.

So even though it’s super hot, we all decided to do Belvedere Square again this Friday.  It was actually not crowded at all, so it was nice.  Auntie JJ even brought Sadie…which unfortunately backfired b/c Sadie threw up a bunch.  I think it was just too hot for her. We still had lots of fun. Sam and I ran around alot.  I didn’t eat any dinner which really upset Mommy but she’ll get over it.  It was a good time and I was so wound up when we got home that I didn’t fall asleep until after 9pm!  Summer is so much fun!
