Call me Mr Phelps Jr

Just in case you didn’t know, Michael Phelps grew up not far from my house…and I think that there might be something in the water here in Baltimore, b/c as you can see from the pictures below, I am an amazing swimmer! I can already put my head under water, I can float, I can kick on the kickboard…I am “THIS CLOSE” to swimming on my own. Today Mommy took me into the deep end and I loved it. I think I should put a call in to Mike’s(yup, I call him Mike) trainer! Olympics here I come…

My first Pancake! (that I made)

Yup, you read correctly, I MADE THESE! I mixed the batter (and got it all over the kitchen), mixed it up (I saw dad grab the mix and had it ready by the time he got the bowl out), mixed them up, sprayed the pan down, poured the batter, flipped them, and put them on the plate. Mom and dad couldn’t find the camera for the first bit but luckily got the final bits here.

Belvedere Square, baby

Today is July 9th and it’s only our 2nd visit to Belvedere Square this summer. It’s just been way too hot or we’ve been way to busy to go. But Daddy really motivated us today. He made all the food and drink and packed me up to go. We met Mommy, Auntie JJ and Cousin Sam there. Unka Nik was traveling all the way in California so he couldn’t come. Daddy was super smart and brought the iPad too. So I got to watch Dora while I was hanging out.

July 4th 2010

Happy 4th of July everyone! We celebrated the birth of our wonderous country by spending a lot of time outside. That seems kind of stupid because it was SUPER hot…but we had lots of pool time and sprinkler time. On Saturday, we went to Wheelie’s pool all day. Then mommy left me at Wheelie’s to go and hang out w/ her boyfriends; Jacob and Edward. The next day we went over Unka Nik’s and Auntie JJ’s to eat some crabs and play with fireworks. It was really loud but I had a good time. I played in the sprinkler’s w/ cousin Sam too!!

Lost and found escalator ride

So mom hates it when dad does this but he found what he thinks was my first escalator ride clip and wanted to post it. This likely happened a few months ago but the date was wrong on the picture so we really don’t know when. Our guess is 6/21 but no one is sure. The ride was pretty fun though. Not sure what to think about these moving stairs. Since then however, I can’t get enough of them!

Phish!

For daddy’s bday this year, he decided to pretend that he was still 21 yrs old. So he went to 3 Phish shows in a row with all of his friends. He even dragged Mommy to one. She had a GREAT time!

Father’s Day 2010

Today was a super fun day! Auntie JJ had the best idea to go TUBING in Gun Powder State Park. We basically rented tubes, took a shuttle to the top of the river and then floated down. I got to ride on a tube w/ Daddy but everyone else had their own tube, including Cousin Sam. Mommy made sure that I was all covered up in the suit that Lauren got me a long time ago b/c it was really sunny and the water was SUPER cold. I also got to wear my new life vest. I was covered from head to toe. It took a long time and we stopped to have snacks and play in the water. Mommy & Auntie JJ were super slow b/c they kept floating over to the side. A few bugs and frogs tried to eat Mommy but she made it through alive. I was so tired at the end of the day that I fell asleep in the car as soon as we got in. It was a lot of fun though and I can’t wait to do it again. Hopefully next time, I’ll be big enough to have my own tube…
