Today was my final gym class of the season. They don’t have air conditioning in the gym so I can’t take any summer classes. I showed off all the new activities that I learned like: Thunder, Jump & Straddle, Squat and more. Since I was graduating, I got an awesome new medal. I was very sad that Mommy & Daddy weren’t there to see it but luckily Susana was there to celebrate with me. Coincidentally, today is also Mommy & Daddy’s 7 year wedding anniversary. They stayed home to spend it with me though and I showed off all my new skills and my new medal! I can’t wait for fall when it’s time to sign up for my next gym class. I hope I graduate to the regular class and I don’t need to have Susana do it all with me.

Birthday #2(Dos)
Well, my favorite time of year is here again! Yup, you guessed it….my BIRTHDAY! I think that I take after Mommy b/c really, I celebrated my birthday ALL WEEK LONG. I did alot of Dora watching, playing w/ my new toys, going to the pool, doing my annual lunch at Fields and getting an awesome cake. The pictures here represent all of those celebrations. This year I turned 2! Can you believe how fast the time has gone by? Well, if you haven’t, just scroll through this website and take a look at the past 2 years. Lots has happened in those 2 years and now I’m growing into a BIG BOY! I’m getting really good at talking…I am super athletic and all in all, I have enough hair on my head to support a 3rd world country. It’s unbelievable! I got a ton of awesome presents this year..to name a few:
1. a Dora(Diego) backpack
2. an art easel
3. a super cool real big boy bike w/ pedals
4. a super cool real automatic motorcycle
5. books and puzzles
6. a basketball net
7. a water table
..and this list goes on and on. I’d like to thank, Mommy & Daddy, Wheelie, Grandma & Grandpa, Unka Nik, Auntie JJ, Cousin Sam, Aunt Christine, and Uncle Ryan and Aunt Rhonda for making this a very successful birthday! 🙂
Only 6 more months until CHRISTMAS!

Motorcycle
So the clock is ticking and it’s almost my 2nd birthday. I know that Mommy has lots of presents for me hidden somewhere but she must have felt guilty so she gave me one early. Auntie JJ, Unka Nik and Cousin Sam got me the BEST PRESENT EVER(atleast until I get something new)! She got me my very own motorcycle. I had a little help from my ‘fam getting used to it but I caught on quick. It just goes when I press the little button. I don’t have to pedal or anything. I already figured out that if I lean forward it makes it seem faster. I rode it all up and down the sidewalk and was even going up on the grass and over sticks…I think that they call that “off roading”. My birthday is only3 days away and I can’t wait to see what else I get. BRING ON THE PRESENTS!

Memorial Weekend 2010
The theme of this weekend was…..WATER! Yup, I know that it comes as a surprise to some of you but I really like to play in the water. Any water..I don’t care. So since this weekend was so nice and warm, we decided to spend as much time near water as possible. Mommy got me a new water sprinkler and it was so much fun to run around with. I chased Mommy and got her all wet. Later in the weekend we decided to hit the Stoneleigh Pool for the first time. We got to go play in a kiddie pool and I ran around and stole everyone’s toys. The pool area also has a huge sand pit but for some reason, Mommy wouldn’t let me go into it. Buzz Kill! All in all, a fun filled water weekend!

Bike Jam 2010
Today we got up and early to go to Bike Jam Rec Ride 2010. Basically, it’s a fun bike ride throughout Baltimore City. We rode all around Camden Yards, Federal Hill, Locust Point, Inner Harbor, Harbor Place, Patterson Park, etc. It was actually a really good way to see all of the neighborhoods around the city. I thought it was ok, but I got bored after the first hour or so. I rode with Daddy and Mommy rode on her own bike b/c she’s not a good bike rider. After the long ride, Mommy and Daddy let me play in the Patterson Park play ground. That made the whole ride worthwhile.

Swim Practice
Now that summer is almost here, Mommy & Daddy signed me back up for swim lessons. Well, I don’t think that 1x per week lessons is really enough to get to be a good swimmer and I want to be an expert by the time the pool opens, so I’ve decided that I need to use bath time as practice time. As you can see, I’m getting very good at floating on my back and side. I’m also working on my kicks and my bubble blowing. Mommy kept the pictures from the top up, b/c, I wasn’t wearing my bathing suit! I’m pretty sure that in another few weeks, I’ll be able to take on Michael Phelps and win!
