So it was a random trip to the mall which spurred my first humongo haircut. By humongo of course I simply mean a haircut that did not entail me kicking, yelling, squirming, or anything. I literally just sat there and took it all in. As per usual dad sat behind me in the chair and held me down but this went very smoothly I must say. Mom and dad snapped these pics in the car on the way home almost immediately regretting the amount of hair removed from my head. I went from 18 months to 4 years with a few passes of the scissors. Mom and dad have pledged that the hair will return. Absolutely, it will return.

Snow Storm
Have I mentioned how much I love the snow? Well, I do. I’m not so crazy about all the layers of clothes that I have to wear though. Mommy and Daddy aren’t so happy that every time it snows, it’s on the weekends and ruins all their plans. But it worked for me this time because instead of going out for Wheelie’s birthday, they stayed home and played with me in the snow. Daddy was convinced that they could go out to see Avatar regardless of the 24″ of snow we got…but the movie theatre closed! Daddy had to shovel 5 times just keep up with it. I heard that it hadn’t snowed like that since before Mommy and Daddy got married but that was so long ago, that I wasn’t even born yet.

Gingerbread House
At Wheelie’s party, I got a gingerbread house to put together. I’m not sure why people put candy on a house and don’t eat it…but Mommy and I decided to give it a try. Mommy did most of the work and she even let me eat some of the candy. I gave my xmas pajamas a trial run.

Hannukah Party
I love the holidays! Wheelie hosted a big family Hannukah party and everyone came over and brought me presents. We had a really good time decorating Wheelie’s xmas tree(at the Hannukah party) and then we all got to open some presents. Mommy made me wait to open some until Christmas but I did get to play with some of them. Daddy left early to take me home to bed because I got very tired. All in all, a good time.

Breakfast with Santa
Woo Hoo!!! It’s Christmas time and you know what that means…Santa is coming to town! Well, Stoneleigh scheduled a visit with Santa so that we would get a chance to meet. When he comes on 12/25, I’m already asleep, so I never get to see him. Well, Mommy took me(all by herself) and we waited for Santa and his reindeer to come and say hi. He was a little scary when I met him, but he did have candy cane’s so it was worth it. I even got to see some donuts. Yum, Yum. They also gave me my very own ornament which we put on our xmas tree when we got home.

Gym Class
I bet you didn’t know that it’s really cold out now that it’s winter. Well, Susana and I don’t want to sit around inside all day and it’s too cold to go play in the playground so Mommy signed me up for gym classes at Rebounders every Friday. I’m really excited b/c I LOVE the ball pit and it’s all boys, so we get to run around crazy for an hour. Susana had to help me at first, but I’m really getting the hang of this stuff. Also, you can see in the pictures what Pugsly and Wednesday like to do in the winter…

What a difference this year makes
Dad was poking around through the gazillions of pictures he has of everything on planet Earth and found out that this photo was mis-filed. Since the date it was taken was almost upon us he decided to keep it close by and then put it out here. To recap, this photo was taken December 9, 2008. It is now December 9, 2009 and things are quite a bit different. First, this photo was taken in a different bathtub. Sad as it was to see it go, that tub was in another land. Next, I am huge now. Seriously, large. Two, I no longer sit there passively and get bathed. I not terrorize the bathtub and throw soap and water literally everywhere. Third, now my bath has more toys than water. Oh, and that seat thing you see, I beat that thing all up. No longer useful at all.
What has not changed are the dogs. They are still silly and still follow me around quite a bit.
Just to say though, it was one heck of a year. Next year is going to be even better. Just come back and see.

Our First Tree
So it has been a little while since we had a first. Not terribly long but a while nonetheless. I am happy to report we have one now; our first tree. Yeah. At first I was pretty confused what the heck a big tree was doing in my living room. Then I got funky with the ornaments, throwing them all over the living room. When dad had enough of that, they tried to silence me by feeding me. Well, it worked; long enough to allow dad to race through finishing the decorations.
Several years ago grandma started shipping classic car ornaments to dad. He has really had no trees to put them on until now. So, he took them out and tried to put them on the tree. A shortage of hooks prevented the task from being completed all the way but soon enough. We also had another first; LED lights. These suckers are bright as all getup and use a fraction of the juice. Sweet.
Here is the highlight reel from the experience.
