So dad emptied out the old online store and as a result has a bunch of boxes hanging around. In a nutshell I found myself in a box unable to get out. Did not quite think this one all the way through. Mom and dad found it so funy they kept me there long enough to take this lovely photo. Parents are cruel aren’t they?

Banjo round two
So a quick search for “banjo” above will take you to Dec 20, 2008 where dad put me in the banjo case for a laugh and an impromptu photo shoot. This time I voluntarily climbed in the case. One, I love the green velvet, still. Two, I actually really like the banjo. A quick comparison though will demonstrate just how much I have actually grown since then. Pretty crazy. Take a look…

Moo juice only from now on
Today was truly a red letter day for me; last bottle of formula. Yippee! As I sucked this bottle down in traditional land-speed-record fashion I drank unsuspecting of the fact that there would be no more. Vitamin D only from this day forth. This makes mom, dad, and whomever babysits from this point forward very happy. And now we can all move on.

Laundry basket endeavors
I consistently have an issue with laundry in general. I share this with the dogs. I just can’t get enough of the laundry basket actually. This time I climbed in and well, got stuck. Then, to unstuck myself I began to throw laundry out of the basket and all over the hallway. That was where mom intervened and stopped the madness. I thought it was cute, mom not so much.

Apple picking
Everyone always rants and raves about apple picking. Hmm. I guess you get caught up in the idea of things sometimes and even feel some strange pressure to actually partake in them. Apple picking is one of them. Let me save you the journey. Pay money, get box. Go to trees, avoiding the zillion and five apples already sitting on the ground. I mean countless apples. More apples than you can possibly imagine on the ground. Some smashed, some rotten, some fine. Put picked apples in box. Go home. Maybe we are missing something but hey, we did it anyway. Not a bad day. Rain in the morning then sun to go apple picking. In the end though time spent with cousins, aunts, uncles, moms, and dads is never too bad.

Fall 2009 has arrived
Fall has officially arrived. This is, to say the least, sudden. Summer was yesterday, fall is today. Nuts. However, we have indeed found another activity I love, playing with leaves. Susana’s kids came over the other day and raked leaves into a big pile on the lawn to play in. I found that same pile today. No better way to kick off Fall though than by throwing leaves straight into the air.

Lunch with dad yields progress
As though any of you are shocked, one lunch with dad yields significant evolutionary results. While I have played with spoons and forks quite a bit prior to this, today was the first day I actually put the act of “forking” and “eating” together. (actually spooning). The food, applesauce. Yes…

My organic watermelon
Dad always had a thing for gardening in the urban landscape. While certainly no farmer he does like making gardens work. In the new house we made a garden and went at it to try and do it all organic. That worked just fine except dad forgot to fertilize at all this summer. Well, that meant that the plants grew like crazy straight up then stopped. Since later in life this post might make dad sad, I will leave this with a photo of our one, and might I add only, watermelon…
