Seems to be a trend around here to post a random cute picture of me for no real good reason. So, I give you this month’s random cute picture; for no reason at all.

Been here 2 days and already helping dad build stuff
Well, helping is a loosely defined word here; a bit more like licking the light cover and trying to eat the screwdriver but who is keeping track anyway? Dad was on a tear today putting things together, taking things down, building, screwing in, moving, unpacking, and generally getting motivated. Mission one, light in the bedroom. As he generally does not love putting in ceiling fans, I thought I would lend a helping hand to make the process a bit better. I almost have the hang of a screwdriver. Next step, power saw! Ok, not really but a guy can dream can’t he?

Well I guess now I have to be a Ravens Fan? Right?
The answer is possibly. Now that we have completed the move mom and dad are “from” a few places. Dad was from California so, theoretically, he could be a fan of a few teams out there. Then, they both went to school in New England so that is also an option. (OK, not really, but they did live there). Then we all lived in NJ just outside of NY so we have a few more options there. However, as it turns out, mom’s home team is where I ended up. Timing was good though as the Ravens made the playoffs the day after our move so of course I donned the Ravens onesie. The whole neighborhood had purple everything. Quite an impressive show of support for the local team I must say. So, I did my part…

Up, up, and away! Moving day.
So the time finally came. Moving day. Terribly long day I must say but luckily I can’t lift anything so the adults pretty much took care of everything. All I had to do was look cute and play in this wonderful stuff they call “packing materials”. WOW! This is fun stuff. Mom and dad didn’t have room in the car so they put me in this box. I was not complaining. Then, after I started eating all the paper, they took me out. Mean parents. Moving went well. Again, long day but all went really smoothly. As you can see though from the thermostat picture, moving out of Hoboken was a little cold. Luckily mom and I were already down here so it was only dad who had to deal with that.
In case you were wondering that number was the thermostat INSIDE the Hoboken house at the time of the move.

Lounging at the Honda dealership
On a day of snowy forecasts and a few days prior to the bug move mom and dad took me to a Honda dealership to buy, of all things, a Toyota Prius. We continue our hybrid rrquirements in the family. Being my first car purchase, I did not know how incredibly boring this process would be. Mom is crazy and dad is just waitin around. Me, I chose to hang out and lounge on these super swank leather chairs! Fun all around.

Getting the new year started
And a glorious new year is upon us indeed. Cold as anything here today but we are getting through it. First order of business, get mom and dad a new bed. After much to do we finally go one. Hooray. It is their first king size bed so they are psyched and now I have a bigger place to crash when I have a bad dream. All good. Now off to get food or go home, mom is crazy sick.
